Corporate & Commercial Lawyers in Hyderabad

Practical legal support for businesses, startups and MSMEs — from the first contract to the last recovery.

Good contracts prevent most commercial disputes. We draft and review agreements that reflect how your business actually works, and keep your compliance in order.

When money is owed or a partnership breaks down, we pursue recovery through negotiation, MSME facilitation, arbitration or the Commercial Courts — whichever is fastest and most cost-effective.

Common questions

How can an MSME recover unpaid invoices?

A registered micro or small enterprise can refer a delayed payment to the MSE Facilitation Council through the MSME Samadhaan portal, which conciliates and then arbitrates, and the MSMED Act provides for interest on the delay. A recovery suit or commercial suit is the route where the Council is not available.

We have a template. Do we still need a lawyer for the contract?

Templates rarely reflect how a particular deal works. We tailor the payment terms, deliverables, liability, termination and dispute resolution clauses to your business, and make sure the document is properly stamped and executed so that it can be enforced.

What is a Commercial Court?

Commercial Courts hear commercial disputes above a specified value under the Commercial Courts Act, with stricter timelines for pleadings and disclosure. Unless urgent interim relief is sought, the parties must attempt pre-institution mediation before a suit is filed.

Is arbitration better than going to court?

It can be quicker and private, but that depends on the arbitration clause, the parties and the costs involved. We advise on whether to invoke arbitration, how to respond to a notice of arbitration, and when to seek interim relief from the court under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
